How Will Enforcement Officers Know That I've Paid? Will My Payment Show on the Meter?

Parkmobile payments do not integrate with the meters in this area. While your payment will not show on the meter, the officer will use your space number, license plate number and zone number to view your Parkmobile payment on a handheld device. As such, please make sure to add any additional license plate numbers to your account before creating a parking session in order to make sure your parking transactions are correctly created.

**Special Note - License plate numbers must be entered correctly to ensure parking enforcement is able to verify your payment. Include all numbers AND letters when recording your license plate number. If you are unsure of your complete and accurate license plate number please check your vehicle registration documentation. In particular, many Delaware license plates include numbers AND letters, shown vertically or horizontally. Letters shown vertically or horizontally, and before or between numbers ARE part of your complete license plate number. You must include ALL of the letters and numbers to correctly pay for your parking and avoid being ticketed.

Zone Number Information and Range:

Zone numbers are a critical part of your transaction and must be recorded correctly in order for your parking session to be identified correctly by the parking enforcement officers. Zone numbers vary by area or meter. You MUST identify your Parkmobile zone number from the green Parkmobile signage located in your parking area.

In the parking areas in Rehoboth Beach, DE the zone numbers range from 8801-88500.

Area Specific Parkmobile Phone Number:

Can transactions in zones in this area be stopped? Extended? Why or why not?

You can not stop a session once started. You must select the amount of time you want in advance and pay for that time with your credit card. If you chose more time than you needed, you will not be able to stop the session or get a refund.

You are able to extend your parking time, if you see that you need more than the amount you initially paid for, as long as you haven't already chosen the maximum allowed. In order to extend a transaction it must still be active and not yet expired. Example: if the maximum is 3 hours, and you chose 1 hour, you can then extend your session before it expires for up to an additional 2 hours. Note that extensions are separate transactions, and therefore each extension carries a transaction fee as well.

Additionally, at each meter there is a minimum purchase required, as there is when you pay directly at the meter. Most meters carry a 1-hour minimum, but check the meter at which you park to be sure. Most zones here recognize a '30-minute no return time'. This means if your session ends you must move your vehicle for at least 30 minutes before starting another paid parking session in that zone.
