How Can I Use Chase Pay to Pay with Parkmobile?

Using Chase Pay as a payment method in the Parkmobile app

You can now check out with Chase Pay® when using the Parkmobile app. Chase Pay is a mobile payment feature that lets you pay more quickly and securely. With Chase Pay, your eligible Chase Visa® consumer credit, debit and Chase Liquid® cards are conveniently preloaded and will automatically update when they expire so you can save time at checkout.  To learn more about Chase Pay and all the ways you can use it, visit ChasePay.com.

To pay with Chase Pay:

(First-time use in Parkmobile app only) You’ll need to first enable Chase Pay as a payment option by following the steps below (See also How to enable Chase Pay below for more details):

Enter your Chase username and Chase password.

Confirm the details on the screen.

Once Chase Pay is enabled , press OK to continue.

Select Chase Pay as your payment option.

Click continue.

Choose your parking duration. A confirmation screen will then appear for you to review before purchase.

Tap the Chase Pay button to confirm your transaction.

 

General FAQs for ChasePay

Do I still earn the same card rewards when I use Chase Pay®?

Absolutely! Any purchases made using Chase Pay earn the same rewards you’d normally get by swiping or using your card online. Chase Slate®, Chase Debit and Chase Liquid® do not earn rewards.

Do I have to download the app to use Chase Pay?

When you download the Chase Pay app or a merchant app that accepts Chase Pay, you can use Chase Pay and all of its features on your phone. If you only want to use Chase Pay online at participating merchants, and don't want to download the Chase Pay app, you'll need to take an extra step to enroll online. You can enroll online by visiting chase.com and signing in to your account, clicking the "Chase Pay" tab at the top of the page and then clicking "Enroll."

Can Chase Pay be used for recurring charges, subscriptions or bills (Netflix, Amazon Prime, etc.)?

This service is not currently available.

Can I use Chase Pay to pay at merchants outside of the U.S.?

Currently, Chase Pay can only be used to pay at merchants in the U.S.

What if I have questions about a purchase made with Chase Pay?

If you have questions or concerns about product returns or refunds, please contact the merchant directly. If you don’t recognize a charge on your account, please call the number on the back of your Chase card.

How do I make a return for purchases made with Chase Pay?

You should save your paper receipts for the purchases you make with Chase Pay. While Chase Pay keeps a record of your transaction for reference, you need the paper receipt for returns.

How do I manage my Chase Pay settings?

You can update your settings on Chase.com by signing in, clicking on the "Chase Pay" tab at the top of the page and then "Change Settings". Within the Chase Pay app, you can update your settings in the "More" menu.

What if I have questions about Chase Pay?

If you have questions about Chase Pay, please call the number on the back of your card.

How do I unenroll from Chase Pay?

You can unenroll from Chase Pay on Chase.com by signing in to your account, clicking the "Chase Pay" tab at the top of the page, clicking "Change settings" and then clicking "Unenroll." Or you can call the number on the back of your card.

Why can’t I use Chase Pay?

If you have both personal and non-individual accounts (e.g., business and/or trust) with Chase that use the same chase.com username, you can’t use Chase Pay at this time.

 

Card FAQs

Can my card be used in Chase Pay®?

We'll load all eligible Chase Visa® consumer credit cards, debit cards and Chase Liquid® cards in Chase Pay, and each can be used as the payment method for your Chase Pay transactions. At this time, Chase Pay doesn’t accept business credit cards, business debit cards or Mastercard® cards.

How do I add a card to Chase Pay?

For your convenience, we automatically load all of your eligible Chase card(s). There's nothing more you need to do to add your card(s).

Can I add any non-Chase cards to Chase Pay?

No, Chase Pay only works with Chase Visa consumer credits cards, debit cards and Chase Liquid cards at this time.

What happens when my card expires, is replaced or is new?

If your card is already in Chase Pay, we will automatically update Chase Pay with your new card number. We'll also load any new eligible cards for your convenience.

How do I choose the card I want to use as my primary payment card in Chase Pay?

When you set up Chase Pay for the first time, we’ll ask you to choose a card from your eligible Chase cards to be your primary card. Unless you change to another card during checkout, we’ll use your primary card for Chase Pay purchases. If you’d like to change that to another card, tap “See more” under last transaction tile on the Home screen and swipe through your cards until you find the card you want to set as your primary card. Then tap “Card details" and then, "Set as primary” to make this your primary card. You can also change your primary card on chase.com by signing in, clicking the "Chase Pay" tab at the top of your screen and then clicking "Change settings."

What is “Hide at checkout”?

Chase Pay loads all of your eligible Chase cards to your app. If you have cards that you don’t want to make available to choose at check out, tap “See more" under last transaction tile on the Home screen, choose the card you’d like to hide, and tap “Hide at checkout.”  This card won’t show up on the Pay screen as an available payment card.  This option isn’t available for the card you set as your primary card. To unhide a card at any time, tap to deselect "Hide at checkout." You can also change your primary card on chase.com by signing in, clicking the "Chase Pay" tab at the top of your screen and then clicking "Change settings."

How do I remove a card from Chase Pay?

To permanently remove a card from Chase Pay, please call the number on the back of your card.

 

Payment FAQs

Does Chase charge a fee to use Chase Pay®?

No, there’s no charge to use Chase Pay, but message and data rates may apply.

How do I pay using Chase Pay in-store?

When you’re ready to check out, tap the Pay button. You’ll need to show the cashier the QR code on your phone.

Chase Pay will charge the card you’ve set as your primary card for the purchase. If you want to switch to another Chase card, or to use an eGift card, swipe left or right and choose another card before you show the QR code to the cashier. 

Once you pay by showing your QR code, close the Pay screen by tapping the "X" in the upper left hand corner. To see how much you spent and find your payment summary, tap "See more" under the last transaction tile on the home screen to open the Cards & Transactions page.

How do I pay online using Chase Pay?

Go to participating online merchants using the same browser/device you use today for Chase.com. Choose Chase Pay as your payment method when completing your purchase. Confirm your Chase username and enter your Chase.com password to securely verify your payment and shipping.

Can I pay bills or transfer money using Chase Pay?

To manage your credit card or debit account, pay bills or transfer money, please use the Chase Mobile® app or sign in to Chase.com.

Can I pay my credit card bill using Chase Pay?

To make a credit card account payment, please use the Chase Mobile app or sign in to Chase.com.

Can I pay using Chase Pay from another app?

You can also use Chase Pay for simple checkout whenever you see the Chase Pay logo online or in a merchant app.

Why don’t I have payment summaries for all of my card transactions?

The Chase Pay app only has payment summaries for purchases made using Chase Pay. If you made a purchase by swiping your card or by entering your card number for an online purchase, you won’t see a payment summary in the Chase Pay app. If you want to see your payment summaries for all transactions, please use the Chase Mobile app or sign in to Chase.com.

 

Security FAQs

What information does Chase Pay® share with merchants?

When you use Chase Pay, we just send the merchant your payment token (i.e. substitute account number). We never share your Chase username or password, credit card number or account number with merchants.

Am I liable for unauthorized charges made with Chase Pay?

Purchases made with your Chase credit, debit and/or Chase Liquid® cards have Chase Zero-Liability Protection for any unauthorized card transactions. This means that you will not pay for any unauthorized transactions as long as they are reported promptly. Certain limitations apply. Please see your cardholder agreement for complete details.

What is a payment token?

Your payment token is a unique number we create that’s associated with each of your cards. When you make a Chase Pay purchase, we show merchants this payment token instead of your actual card number or your chase.com user name and password.

Can I lock Chase Pay?

The Chase Pay app is locked when the device is locked.

What if my card is lost or stolen?

If your card is lost or stolen, please use the information below:

Is my Chase Pay information secure if my computer or mobile device is lost or stolen?

No one can use your Chase Pay account without your Chase username and password. If your mobile device is lost or stolen, you should contact your mobile service provider to deactivate your device or call the number on the back of your card.

What should I do if I see a transaction that isn't mine?

You should call the number on the back of your card immediately if you see a transaction in Chase Pay that you don’t recognize.

What happens when I replace or update my device?

You may need to download the Chase Pay app again. Once you do, your history and transactions will be intact.

 

Order Ahead FAQs

Where can I order ahead?

When you sign in to Chase Pay®, tap "Order" and we'll find the nearest participating merchants.

Or, you can tap the magnifying glass icon to enter another ZIP code and we'll find participating merchants in that area.

How does order ahead work?

When you sign in to Chase Pay, tap "Order" and we'll find the nearest participating merchants.

Choose a merchant to see the menu and check out any available offers.

Tap an item to add it to your order.  You can customize it depending on the options at that merchant.

When you're ready to check out, review your order, including the costs, credits applied, and payment card.

Once you tap "Place order," we'll process your transaction by sending your order to the merchant and let you know when to pick it up.

When you get to the merchant, you can go right to pickup because you've already paid with Chase Pay.

What are offers and how do I earn them?

When you order ahead through Chase Pay, some merchants may offer credits toward your next purchase for meeting certain conditions, such as spending a certain amount. To see offers for a particular merchant, choose the merchant and then tap the "Offers" tab.  Any offers are those of the participating merchant’s and not Chase's offers.

Where can I find more information about offers?

To see offers for a particular merchant, choose the merchant and then tap the "Offers" tab. There, you'll see if you have any credits available to use towards your next purchase, and you can track how close you are to earning additional credits and how much you've saved at this merchant by ordering ahead.

How do I use my offers?

If you have any available credits, we'll automatically apply them to your next order. There's nothing you need to do.

Do my offers expire?

Some merchant offers may expire.  If so, we'll include that information in the offer.  To see when a merchant's offers expire, tap the merchant's "Offers" tab.

If I already participate in a merchant's loyalty program, can I use those rewards in Chase Pay?

No, at this time, you can't combine the rewards you've earned using a merchant's loyalty program with offers you earn by ordering ahead with Chase Pay.

Can my food be delivered when I order ahead?

No, ordering ahead through Chase Pay is only available for pickup right now.

Can I tip when I order ahead?

No. Tipping isn't available at this time when you use Chase Pay to order ahead.

What number can I call if I have any issues with my order?

Give us a call at 1-844-332-2088. To help us quickly find your order, be sure to have the reference number for your order. To find it, tap the Order history icon (paper & clock) in the upper left corner of the nearby merchants list screen. Your reference number is at the bottom under your payment method.
